Let’s make sure the App does what it’s advertised to do before we get ambitious.5. What’s the point?! Really shouldn’t have to point out that the focus on the developers should be to make sure the core services that the App provides are working as they should.

It’s like having a movie service subscription, but you only get to watch on odd numbered days. It’s kind of the core of the App to have these functions. When it stops at one song it will usually say, “unable to find playlist.” Really tired of this as well. It will stop play early in the playlist, or glitch out altogether and stop at one song. It’s really really frustrating! And I can’t get continuous play off my downloaded playlists often. I’ll spend time, kill a GOOD bit of time, editing a playlist and it won’t save! I’ll hit the editing pencil icon, move songs around, hit done, then I refresh the playlist to find that it’s still the same. What irks me is that I’m having issues editing my playlist off the app. And I really like the inclusion of accessing community playlists. The app is still working wonderfully when it comes to finding songs, getting recommendations, and adding music to a playlist. When I first got the App years ago it was great. Instead of just creating a playlist of your likes or of songs that match ANY of your likes, the app creates “Mixes” that are based on genres/logical groupings of your likes. Original: I never had problems with Google Play Music, but this app crashes a lot and has below average shuffle capabilities (i.e., won’t play all songs in a band’s catalog before turning off and puts the same set of songs in the beginning of every shuffled play session instead of truly shuffling the whole list each time.) I do love the concept of the auto-generated “My Mix” playlists, though. It totally defeats the purpose of the radio function!!!! The only reason I’m staying with 3 stars is that the app stopped crashing on me constantly as I’d noted in my original review (below). On the rare occasion it tosses in something new and I “like” it, then that band gets endlessly added to the mix with the same couple of songs. This was my favorite function because I liked discovering new bands and songs based on a band or song I liked, but now it plays the same songs by the same bands over and over and over each time I start the radio station. Update: Tempted to drop to 2 stars because the “radio station” function has gotten worse. Good ideas but below average in a couple areas Subscriptions and auto-renewal may be managed by going to Account Settings after purchase.
